Dr. Truong Q. Le, D.D.S. - Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Le immigrated to America where he began his studies at West High School in Bakersfield, California. Intrigued by the art and science of dentistry, he attended the University of California and moved onward to study dentistry at the University of Southern California, graduating in 2003 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Le has a passion for community service and patient education. He discusses dental care and treatments during a live radio talk show bi-weekly and a monthly television show. In addition, he published several articles in a national magazine.
Dr. Le excels himself as a cosmetic dentist. He has over 500 hours in continuing education in cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. In addition to being a member of the American Cosmetic Dental Association, he is also a member of the ADA, TDA, GHDS, HAADS. He has recently been inducted as a fellow into the International Congress of Implantologists.
Dr. Lan K. Doan, D.D.S., M.S.D. - Board Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Doan is a native Houstonian and attended the University of Houston where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated Summa Cum Laude. During her time at the University of Houston, Dr. Doan was a Kaplan instructor the Dental Admissions Test. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas at Houston Dental Branch, graduating with membership into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental society.
Dr. Doan continued her studies at the University of Texas at Houston Dental Branch specializing in orthodontics for another 2 years. She earned her Masters degree in Orthodontics in 2009. She is a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Doan maintains membership in several professional organizations including the AAO, ADA, TDA, GHDS, and HAADS, She has been a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics since 2009,
Dr. Omar W. Hakki, D.D.S., M.S.D. - Board Certified Periodontist
Dr. Hakki graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry and continued his education for an additional 3 years to receive his Masters of Science in Dentistry in Periodontics. Periodontists focus on the structures surrounding and supporting the teeth such as the gums and the bone and their pathologist.
In addition to practicing with Smile Architects, Dr. Hakki serves as the main periodontists at the Houston Veterans Association to serve our country's heroes. Dr. Hakki currently holds a Clinical Professor position in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Texas School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hakki is a member of numerous local and national dental organizations including the AAP, AOD, ADA, AGD, TDA, GHDS, and GHDSP.
Our Staff
Presently, he serves as the Primary Insurance Coordinator and Office Manager of our office, his desire to help our patients is the guiding light of his professional philosophy. He attended the University of California Davis, where he double majored in Economics and Neurophysiology & Behavior. It was this degree path that led him to the field of dentistry where he has worked since 2009 in differing roles and capacities.
Gilda has been an integral team member since graduating from Pima Medical Institute in October 2013 where she received her Certification for Dental Assisting and her Dental Assistant license shortly thereafter. She presently serves on the orthodontic team with Dr. Doan as well as with Dr. Le in comprehensive dentistry.
As the youngest of member of our office, Thanh currently attends the University of Houston. He aspires to become a dentist and started at the office as a volunteer and shadowing Dr. Le before becoming a member of the staff. While working at the office, he is learning valuable skills and information about the field of dentistry.
Van join our team at Smile Architects in 2012, attracted by the caring, compassion, and experience of the Doctors. Van is an outstanding example of our customer service philosophy, always helpful, friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic to help fulfill our patients’ needs; she is constantly the recipient of compliments by our patients. She is a committed and valued member of our team and works very hard to meet our patients' expectations.
Ha Ta received her medical doctor degree in 1986. From 1995 to 1997, she furthered her education and received her doctorate degree in dentistry at Hanoi Medical University. Afterwards, she would go on to work at Saint Paul’s Hospital as a pediatric dentist until 2012 .At the same time, from 2007 to 2011, she got her second Specialist’s Certificate in Dentistry. In 2012, Ha immigrated to the United States, and join the Smile Architect’s Team in 2013 as a Dental Assistant.
Susana was borned and raised in Mexico. There, she earned her degree in dentistry and specialized in othrodontics in Mexico City. Afterward, she immigrated to the United States. We are fortunate to have her knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm at Smile Architects.
